Amanda holds Electricity Retail Licence ERL20. This licence allows Amanda to retail electricity to “contestable” customers in the SWIS, shown below. A contestable customer is one who uses more than 50,000 kWh per year which is typically more than $1,250 per month.
The catchment area of electricity supply is the South West Interconnected Network (SWIN) provided by Western Power who build, maintain and operate the network. Western Power does not generate or retail electricity.
The SWIN together with all of the electricity generators comprises the South West Interconnected System (SWIS).
The complexity of electricity supply analysis and management is made easy by the specialist expertise of Amanda Energy.
