With many years in the commercial fishing, pearling and boat building industry requiring reliable remote on-site power generation Martin has played a leading role in the establishment of Amanda Energy. His management style is based on developing excellent customer relations and a firm belief in mutually beneficial terms.
Martin lives in Perth with his wife and five children. A fishing and sailing enthusiast, Martin gets out on the water as much as possible, both close to home on the Swan River and Rottnest and enjoys the rest of the Australian coastline.
Henry has thirty years experience owning and operating small businesses in agriculture, retail, property and energy industries in Western Australia. Henry has a Bachelor of Commerce with an Accounting Major from UWA. His working knowledge of a diverse range of machinery and equipment in business gives him a grass roots insight as to what levels of power and savings are achievable through various means.
Henry lives in Perth with his wife and three children and is a keen golfer and diver.
Whether the customer is a vegetable grower looking for power savings or a remote community or mine seeking solar, Henry is always looking for positive outcomes for all parties.
The focus on achieving a manageable power bill for any company is a challenge and Henry is excited about meeting the challenges clients are facing to achieve savings with environmental benefits.
Accountant/ Office Manager
Sylvain has over thirty years' experience as an Accountant in conjunction with five years as an Office Manager. He joined the energy industry due to his strong belief in renewal energy as a better alternative for the future.
He has a Bachelor of Commerce with an Accounting Major from Western Australian Institute of Technology (now Curtin University).
He has previously owned and operated a small public practice in conjunction with a Financial Planning Agency, in addition to working as an Administrator for a Contractor for the Gorgon Gas Project on Barrow Island.
Sylvain lives in Perth with his wife and three children and is an avid tennis and squash player. He enjoys spending quality time with the four generations of his family.
Senior Pricing Strategist
Tim has been working at Amanda Energy for two years, focusing on DSM, solar and retail electricity analysis, pricing and administration.
He has a keen interest in computers and is not afraid of cracking a problem. As a result Tim can often be found working overtime, number crunching with his love for Spread Sheets.
His administrative support skills is also embraced with enthusiasm.
He is quite adaptable to the demands of the Energy industry and is enjoying the challenges it represents.
Tim resides in Perth and enjoys watching films in his spare time. He is a great fan of The Young Ones and other classic series. He is also a keen sailor, travelling the world competing in International competitions.
Business Development Manager
Shahmir joined Amanda Energy sales team in July 2015. His solar experience has been valuable at Amanda, helping him strive to his goals.
Having completed a Bachelor of Commerce with a double major in Accounting and Business Law at Curtin University, Shahmir went on to Murdoch University to complete his Juris Doctor in Law.
A keen sports enthusiast, Shahmir has worked in personal training and has a keen interest in health and fitness and sports.
Alex Da Silva
Business Development Manager
Alex is a bona fide ‘Sand-groper’ and possesses an Australian Chartered Accountant designation. Having worked around Australia and internationally in the U.K. and Canada, Alex brings to Amanda Energy 15 years of solid business experience in the areas of finance, executive recruitment and business development. It was during his time in Canada where he started to develop his passion for sustainability, in particular renewable energy, as he truly believes in passing on a better world to the next generation. Educating business, through a consultative approach, of the benefits of cost-effective green energy management solutions, is what drives him in delivering excellence to Amanda Energy’s client base.
Alex lives in Perth with his wife and two young children and is a keen water sports enthusiast. Having semi-mastered the art of being a DJ and playing to party goers, internationally, Alex now spends his spare time DJ’ing epic dance parties to his two biggest fans, his son and his daughter.
Senior Energy Consultant
Alex is passionate about creating a sustainable environment and helping business owners to reduce their energy costs using green energy solutions. He studied Economics at La Trobe University, Melbourne, and is currently completing his Masters in Management at Curtin University. With over 18 years experience in business consulting, management and training, Alex specialises in working directly with business owners and management professionals to meet triple bottom lines, using a holistic approach to energy management.
On weekends he is a professional musician and enjoys playing at some of Perth's most popular events and venues. Keep an eye out for him on stage!
Graeme has a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of WA and has had extensive experience in a range of technologies. He has been involved in the design and development of hardware for audio systems, switching power supplies, telemetry systems and software development in the fields of medical research, education, accounting, simulation and statistical analysis.
Graeme has also run his own consultancy business providing IT solutions and support. Graeme likes to keep physically fit and enjoys both underwater and over water activities including diving, sailing, fishing and bush walking.
He has three grown-up children. Graeme has recently taken up the position of solar manager at Amanda.
Marketing/ Media Manager
Penny is a Commerce graduate from The University of Notre Dame, with a double major in Marketing and Public Relations, working at Amanda Energy focusing on the marketing and advertising aspect of the company.
She is enjoying marketing for Amanda Energy as it brings challenges and insight into an different industry.
Penny spends her time relaxing with family and friends and holidaying as much as possible. She is a keen tennis and netball player.
