The Approach
To meet with management and analyse the power outages and current supply for Kailis Bros and tailor an Energy Management solution to maximise efficiency, prevent loss of power due to blackouts and help reduce energy costs.
Both electricity consumption and energy efficiency were areas of concern contributing to increasing costs for Kailis Bros. The Canning Vale industrial area, where Kailis Bros’ main processing facility is located, is known for its regular power outages.

By offering to fund and install a site specific generator for Kailis Bros, Amanda Energy provided a solution which not only maintains Kailis Bros operations when asked to go ‘off the grid’ for DSM calls, but also secured the added benefit to Kailis Bros of being self-sufficient during power outages, which are notoriously common in our area.”
The Solution
To supply and install a 1 megawatt backup generator ensuring Kailis Bros were constantly supplied with power throughout power outages and help reduce peak demand and decrease capacity charges.
The Results
