The Approach – Electricity Management Advice and Supply

The Solution
The combination of unbundled rates with management advice from Amanda Energy to reduce load during IRCR intervals was recommended to reduce capacity charges. When the wholesale price of electricity suddenly increased by up to 40% in 2022/2023, Amanda Energy worked together with Quality Press to understand the time of electricity use at peak and off peak times to develop tailored electricity rates.
The Result
By partnering with Amanda Energy, Quality Press were able to successfully reduce their capacity charges and reduce energy costs since 2019. When the market changed causing electricity prices to increase, Amanda Energy’s tailored pricing helped to offset the increases and maintain stability in electricity expenditure.
