Who is considered to be a 'large business'?

If your business consumes over 500,000 kWh per year (approx. $100,000) then it qualifies for the Big Business Saver plan. Talk to an Amanda Energy expert today.

Is it more cost effective to get solar at the same time?

What is an interval meter or smart meter?

If you want to purchase energy from a business electricity provider in Perth other than Synergy, you must have an ‘interval’ meter or ‘smart’ meter, which gives readings every half hour. The customer has the right to request that their old style accumulation meter is changed for an interval meter and this may incur a small fee. If your electricity has ever been supplied by a retailer other than Synergy, you will most likely already have had an interval meter fitted. A smart meter allow a business to access on peak and off peak consumption, plus participate in Amanda Energy’s peak shaving program (Energy Optimisation), also called Demand Response.
